TPA Meetings
Jason and Nancy will be pushing out meeting times for final appraisals. Bee on the lookout and feel free to request a better time if the proposed times do not work.

Mr. Bricker is staying at Brownsville 17-18

Sorry for any confusion about Trevor. We don’t want to bore you with why it is technically a new assignment, but yes, he will stay a bee!

Vision Project Winter 2017

Thanks to Willy Kjellstrom, ACPS Tech Integrator for the collaboration and for putting this promo together. He is happy to work with you all on these types of projects, just give him a ring, wkjellstrom@k12albemarle.org .  Big thanks to Gabe, 2nd grade in Ms. Carew (thanks to you too Ms. Carew)

Prayers for a Bee

Many of you may have heard by now, that one of our bee’s passed away this weekend. Austin Germani graduated from WAHS last year and was in his first year at Christopher Newport University.

Austin was a great kid and he will be missed.
I will be sure to pass along notice from the family about any services scheduled for the following days.

Let’s us know if anyone is needing help through this tough time.

Here is Sunday’s message from Darah Bonham, principal of WAHS:

Dear Western Families,
I regret to inform you that today we received official word that Austin Germani, a 2016 graduate of Western Albemarle High School, passed away Saturday.  Austin was a freshman at Christopher Newport University and has siblings at Western.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Germani family and all those impacted.  We will have counselors available should your son or daughter need any assistance through this difficult time.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns.
Darah Bonham, Principal
