JOHN ANTONETTI IS BACK - First 6 to reply
Our division leadership is sponsoring another visit by John Antonetti on
Tuesday April 16 from 8 - 11:30am and has allotted up to 6 teachers to
attend from each school. The plan is for him to work with small groups
around themes of rigor, creativity, and instructional leadership. First 6 to
reply by April 8 are IN!

ADD + TO REPLACE “SNAP” - Need Rep
This summer, the Instructional Leadership Team will be training teachers
from each elementary school in the use of the newest Math Recovery Program,
Add+VantageMR. This program will replace SNAP at all schools. The training
is Monday - Thursday June, 24-27.
BES needs to send one representative to participate in the program. This staff
member will be able to work with colleagues to implement and use the program in the
coming year. Participants will be paid the $75/day stipend for attending the program and
earn recertification points. Let the admin team know if you are interested.

UP / DOWN MEETINGS
The intent of Up/Down Meetings next week are for upper grades
to share with lower grades about what went well and challenges
in building classroom communities the previous year. There is never
a good time to complicate the discussion with current challenges
of rising grade levels or to predetermine student behavior or academic
standing 5 months from now.
The expectation is to follow the questions in the form below and stick
to them. Positive and encouraging messages that express students’
strengths and interest are always welcome.

TPA UPDATE
A reminder to keep up with your TPA reflections in Talent Ed. We
planned to sit down as a faculty during the February Semester Review
to spend some time reflecting on your March 1st goals for students on
your Admin Watchlist.

PD goal update relates to what you have been studying since the
beginning of the year. By May, you will need evidence of:
What did you intend to learn?
How do you know you have learned it?
What is the plan once you have answered those to questions?

Let Admin know if you need clarification or ideas on how to present what you have
learned this year.

SUMMER REPAIR NEEDS
Use this form to list any classroom repairs that you notice.

UPDATED TORNADO SAFETY ZONE MAPS
