MI3 and Content Mid-Year Reflections
Our alternative MI3 and other Specials Mid-Year Meeting
will conclude with this newfangled Flipgrid thing. Go to
one of the links and click on the “How’s it going” title. It
should take you to a page with a big green plus button to
click and add your video reflection. You have a minute 90
seconds. Have fun while you lay it down! We want to hear
from everyone.

Your grid code is ge3bh4 and here is a direct link to the grid:

Spelling Bee
The spelling bee is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23 at
10:30. All bee participants have received notice of this. Third
through fifth grade teachers should send their classroom
winners to the library at 10:15. Streaming will start at 10:30 for
the entire school community.  Feel free to tune in!

Golden Apple
If you know a talented teacher who not only demonstrates
excellence in teaching, but also engages with the community
outside of school, consider nominating him or her for a Golden
Apple Award. But don’t delay! Nominations must be submitted
by February 1.
Who is eligible?
Any teacher, preschool through grade 12, who has not received
a Golden Apple Award in the past three years is eligible.
What do award winners receive?
One teacher from each school will receive a Golden Apple
keepsake, as well as gift certificates from local businesses.
And, eight lucky winners will receive $1,000 grants for
classroom materials or professional development!
When is the submission deadline?
The deadline is just around the corner! Nominations must be submitted
with the principal’s signature by Thursday, February 1, 2018.
How do I get started?
  1. Fill out the application.
  2. Submit or forward the application to your teacher’s school principal
before February 1. (Principals will complete the submission process.)
