TESTING
A friendly reminder that SOLs will be starting next Tuesday, May 7th.  Please be mindful
when walking through hallways, as many small group testing groups are spread
throughout the school.  Also, there will be an extra recess for the grade level that is testing
in the afternoons between 1:10-1:40. This may overlap a few minutes with other grades,
so thank you in advance for your flexibility and help with monitoring the safety of all students.
If you have any questions, please let us know!
NEW BEE
Allow us to introduce Charlotte Geddy, our new guidance counselor beginning
2019-20. She is excited to join us and will bee making a visit soon. She also wanted
to share this note with everyone:
Hi Bees- I'm so excited to join your team!  I grew up in Albemarle County and now
live in Belmont with my husband, baby girl and 2 dogs.  I went to both VA Tech and
UVA, but like Ms. Ingram, I am a Hokie at heart.  I love kindness, nature, mexican
food, dogs, colorful things and wacky tacky everything!  I spent the first 11 years
of my school counseling career with 5th and 6th graders at Walker Upper Elementary
School in Charlottesville.  I can't wait meet you and to work with younger kids at
Brownsville!
If you would like to send a welcome, here is her email: charlottelebogeddy@gmail.com
WAHS ENTREPRENEUR CLASS T-SHIRTS (pics of shirts in attachment)
I'm a senior at WAHS and am a part of the Entrepreneurship Class. We designed
a T-shirt for Crozet ( I have attached an image) we currently have 6 medium and 8
smalls left from our first order. We are also taking down pre-orders for people who
would like to purchase one. They are $10.00 each we accept cash and checks made
out to WAHS. We were wondering if you could send a message out to your staff if
anyone would be interested in either purchasing one or pre-ordering one. We can
deliver the shirts to the front office if we get anyone who is interested.
Thank you,
Lexie Warburton
