TPA forms. Let Leslie, Nancy or Jason know if you have any

SCHEDULE UPDATE

Cheri has completed a draft specials schedule to see how it will fit

into our new master schedule. We will provide more information

about how this will work and the adjustments that will have to be made.

A NEW BEE and a MOVE

We have a new Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Cameron Fleming! Cameron

is from the Richmond area and just received her Master’s in Elementary

Education from the Curry School, after completing her student teaching

at Jackson-Via. She is an enthusiastic new member of our team and we

looking forward to her working with some of our youngest bees. Please

help me welcome her, cdf5sn@virginia.edu

Tracy Combs left us this Spring as our C-Base teacher and will return

as our B-Base teacher. She is thrilled at this opportunity where she has

solid experience. She will take a few breaks this Summer from being

mom, to train-up for this new role.

beautiful setting for a great time.

To the CAI team, Megan Sullivan, Bethany Robinson, Susan Greenwood

and Brandi Piccirilli-Robertson for their participation. This year’s CAI was

very inspirational and motivating for P-Based learning. You will hear more

about their ideas in August.

5th Grade Fun Day

Hey Y’all! ( I had to include this part)

Whew it has been a wild few days! Glad everyone is safe! Unfortunately we cancelled our Monacan trip and are now having a FUN DAY at BES on Tuesday, June 5th.  Thank you for your help and support in advance.  FUN DAY will be using the field outside the K and 1^st grade classrooms.  We will also be using the blacktops.  We will have several stations for the children to rotate through.  (Cheri and Jonathan- PLEASE leave up the slip-n-slides – Thanks in advance)

FUN DAY will run from 9:30am- 12:45pm.

Community Theater Room Clean Out
Items in the community theater room need to bee removed. Dr. Jones and Mr. Bricker are doing there part, but we need everyone that has stuff done there, to come and get it! Things that were taken out of the teachers lounge are also in the back of the CTR. Things will either be stored in the shed or tossed.
