PTO Color Run Hi all, We want to invite you to the Color Run on this Saturday, Oct. 21 from 8-9:30.  So far we have a little over 100 participants signed up and we're hoping it will be a nice morning.  We have also invited Crozet families and the Crozet Gazette has asked to come by for pictures for a story.  I hope some of you can join us. 1-1 Laptops for New Students in Grades 3-5 Do you have a new student in your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade class? When the student is enrolled (or transferred to BES), our CSS, Chris Kiewra, receives an alert email so that he can prepare a machine for the student. You do not need to submit a ticket, but there may be a slight delay in acquiring the new machine because of Chris’ schedule. In the meantime, please feel free to check out a loaner Lenovo for the student from the BES library. Thanks – and let Anne James know if you have any questions.

Purchasing Avis will bee good to go for taking orders beginning on Tuesday this week. Team Leaders: It will be important to monitor your budgets. Avis will be able to help you with that $$$$$$$$

Math Vertical Team Once again, we would like to recognize the Math Vertical Team for their leadership.Thank you for being our scouts.

During our faculty meeting, teams shared specific differentiation strategies. Refer to these in your PLC when you are looking for ways to meet the needs of all of your learners. Create whole group tasks that have multiple entry points. Use graphic organizers with options for extending skill mastery. Facilitate specific opportunities for students to store information into their long term memory.
